Our aims are clear, they are to:
Our Trust is only as strong as its membership, the more supporters we claim to represent, the more likely we are to succeed in our collective aims.
By becoming a member, you can shape the ongoing direction of the Trust.
We are...
It is important that supporters have a say in the running of our Club. This is why the Trust are involved in the Fans Forum meetings to discuss the ‘fan experience’; we also now and more importantly have a formal Memorandum of Understanding between ourselves and the Club where we regularly discuss Club finances, longer term planning and key issues such as ticket pricing and offers.
We want Rovers supporters to have the best of experiences when visiting Ewood Park which is why we are in active discussions with the Club on issues such as Safe Standing and facilities for fans with disabilities. We are The Rovers are involved in a wide range of key supporter issues to help make Ewood a welcoming, safe and enjoyable experience.
This is our Club. Owners, senior management, and players come and go but the one constant are the supporters. We are proud to repeat that football is for fans and without the fans then football would be an empty shell. However we are the Club’s biggest advocates. Our supporters invest valuable time and money watching our team week in and week out. It is our job to support the Club but that is not unconditional; we will support the Club to our utmost but that includes being a critical friend.
The Club has been here for nigh on 150 years. The Supporters Trust are custodians here to ensure Blackburn Rovers are around for future generations.
Our community is diverse in so many ways. The Supporters Trust is a key part of the local community around Blackburn with Darwen and much further afield. Indeed the Blackburn Rovers supporters community is worldwide. The Trust is committed to represent our supporter community and our local community and as always to make Ewood a safe and welcoming place for all regardless of background and belief.
We are committed to working with our local community and are doing exactly that via ‘Fan Takeover’ games and working with supporter groups such as the South Asian Supporters and Proud Rovers along with advocacy organisations like Her Game Too.
Ewood is also an invaluable community resource which is why the Trust are proud to have secured Ewood Park as an Asset of Community Value thus protecting it for future generations.
